IMMUNOVIT™ Immune Support Micronutrients

Vitamins, chelated minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. One formula for stronger defenses.

IMMUNOVIT™ is a complete formula of essential micronutrients designed to strengthen the immune system and support appetite. It supplies zinc, copper and selenium in a highly bioavailable chelated form, together with vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants that protect immune function and cells over the long term.

When Defenses Are Down, Performance Follows

Pollution, stress, microorganisms, and chronic or subclinical disease all wear down a bird's immune system. A weakened immune system shows up as fatigue, repeated infections, slower growth and lower production.

The cost is real. A meta-analysis of 65 studies and about 86,300 broilers found that bacterial challenge cut feed intake by 7 to 16% and weight gain by 10 to 40%, depending on the pathogen. The authors suggested that protein and methionine are diverted to the immune system, away from growth [1].

Modern broilers are often described as having less immune reserve than their predecessors, which makes nutritional support for immunity more important, not less [2].

How it works

Four Kinds of Support. One Formula.

01

Chelated zinc, copper and selenium.

02

Vitamins for immune function.

03

Amino acids for the immune response.

04

Antioxidants for long-term cell protection.

Component groupWhat the research saysRole in IMMUNOVIT™
Zinc, copper, selenium (chelated)Zinc supports antioxidant defense, normal immune response and skeletal development [4]. Selenium works through selenoproteins to regulate oxidative stress and support innate and adaptive immunity [3].Highly bioavailable minerals that help clear free radicals and harmful chemicals from the bird's body
VitaminsVitamin E, for example, is a powerful fat-soluble antioxidant shown to improve cell-mediated and humoral immunity in broiler chicks [2].Essential vitamins for immune function
Amino acidsFunctional amino acids influence immunity, oxidative balance and gut health. Infection raises the demand for some of them, such as arginine [6].Amino acids that support the immune response
AntioxidantsHeat and disease create oxidative stress that lowers antioxidant vitamins and minerals in the blood [4].Potent antioxidants for long-term cellular protection

Why chelated minerals?

Chelated minerals are protected by an organic ligand, which helps them reach the bird in a form it can absorb. In starter broilers fed a corn and soybean meal diet, zinc chelates were about 1.4 to 1.7 times as bioavailable as zinc sulfate, judged by metallothionein in the pancreas [5]. IMMUNOVIT™ supplies zinc, copper and selenium in this chelated form.

Benefits

Benefits of IMMUNOVIT™ for Poultry

IMMUNOVIT™ is designed to help birds stay productive when conditions are hard:

Protects and strengthens the immune systemSupplies the micronutrients that immune cells depend on.
Raises resistance to disease and infectionHelps birds cope with microbial and subclinical challenges.
Supports appetiteChallenge and heat both lower feed intake, so keeping birds eating matters [1, 4].
Supports immune and skeletal functionZinc is needed for immune response and for skeletal development [4].

IMMUNOVIT™ Immune Support Micronutrients

Rising disease pressure. Fewer tools to fight it. Birds that have to do more with every kilogram of feed. IMMUNOVIT™ gives producers a micronutrient formula built around the immune system.

Vitamin EImproves cell-mediated and humoral immunity in broiler chicks; the effect depends on dose, age and genetics.[2]
SeleniumActs through selenoproteins on oxidative stress and on innate and adaptive immunity in poultry.[3]
ZincSupports antioxidant defense, immune response and skeletal development; heat stress lowers feed intake and plasma zinc.[4]
Chelated zincAbout 1.4 to 1.7 times the bioavailability of zinc sulfate in starter broilers.[5]
Functional amino acidsInfluence immunity and oxidative balance; infection raises arginine demand.[6]
